Career Commons works with folks across the career lifecycle on their most complex career decisions. We worked together to create an identity that tells the personal story of one’s vocational path.
Working around the nautical themes of navigation and water, we created a modular icon system for Career Commons, reflecting the unique paths and shapes a career can take, and how we perceive the big picture.
The Compass
In thinking about the visuals that would represent the world of Career Commons, we considered symbols that signify direction, as well as classic university insignia. The result is a story of wayfinding in the form of an emblem, surrounding the inscription of the CC.
